Vijay Singh Kunwar (Past Research Scientist):
Mr. Vijay Singh Kunwar completed his Masters in Biotechnology from Kathmandu University in 2017. He worked as lecturer at Himalayan WhiteHouse International College, Kathmandu. His research interests include microbial ecology, plant growth promoting rhizobacteria, arbuscular mycorrhiza, plant nutrition, and sustainable agriculture. Currently, He has enrolled at Purdue University at Department of Botany and Plant pathology as PhD. candidate. He is now working on Biological Control of Plant parasitic Nematodes using fungi. RIAAS wishes him best future ahead.
Nirmala Adhikari (Researcher):
Miss Nirmala Adhikari was researcher at RIAAS. She completed her B.Sc. at Himalayan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Her research interests are plant protection, biological control. She isolated PSB and carried experiment on plant growth promoting effect of these isolates. Currently, she is working in Shubkalai VDC, 5 kalikot as a Agricultural officer 5th level. RIAAS wishes her a great future ahead
Garima Bhandari (Research Intern) :
Miss. Garima Bhandari was an intern at RIAAS. She completed her B.Sc. at Himalayan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Her research interest are plant protection, horticulture and rural development. She completed her research on “Diversity and occurrence of major disease in vegetables of Kathmandu Valley”. Currently She is doing her Post graduate at Lambton College, Canada on Agri-business Management. RIAAS wishers her great future ahead.
Bijaya Budha (Research Intern) :
Mr. Bijay Budha was an intern at RIAAS. He completed of B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture at Himalayan College Of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. His research interests are biofertilizers and biopesticides. He conducted research on Status of biofertilizer and biopesticide and its use in disease management.
